Placeholders Tutorial Video

This video tutorial covers the basics of setting up placeholders in ID Maker. It begins with adding and formatting a text field, followed by inserting an image to serve as a placeholder for a member image. The video demonstrates how to center and create a border for the image, and then convert both the text and image into placeholders by naming them appropriately.

The tutorial explains how to add cards and manually enter names and images, or alternatively, import data from a spreadsheet or CSV file. It shows how to upload images and associate them with the correct placeholders. A common mistake is highlighted where the placeholder name in the template does not match the column name in the CSV file, and the video provides a solution by adjusting the placeholders and columns view.

Finally, the video illustrates how to generate a printable version with all the images and names filled in, and mentions additional features such as adding multiple text fields for various data and using barcodes. The tutorial concludes by emphasizing the powerful capabilities of ID Maker.
