Safe Line

The Safe Line is used to ensure you don't place any important text or photos in the area of the card that could be cut off when the card is printed. 

The Safe Line is merely a guide and will not show up on your cards when printed. It's recommended that any photos or text be placed so that they are inside of the safe line. 

Background images, colors, or shapes that should go to the edge of the card should go beyond the safe line, and if they should go all the way to the edge of the card you should also enable the Bleed option.
